Family Farm School at Presley May Farms

We’re excited to invite families to join us for our Family Farm School, a hands-on experience designed to bring children and parents closer to farm life, animals, and the rhythms of nature.

Our program meets on Fridays from 10:00–12:15 and centers around caring for and learning from our farm animals—horses, goats, pig, ducks, chickens, and rabbit. Each week, families will take part in our regular farm routines such as feeding, cleaning stalls, offering natural care, and spending time bonding with the animals through gentle, hands-on interactions.

In addition to these weekly rhythms, each week also brings a new homesteading or farming activity, giving families the chance to work with their hands and connect with the land.

Things we’ll explore:
Sustainability
Animal Care
Herbal Medicine
Pickling
The Garden

Homemade Jam

More things to do:
Animal feedings, community circle, science experiments, mud kitchen, potion play, imaginative stations, monster truck area, sandboxes, swings, slides, playhouses, climbing structures.

Recommended for families with children between the ages of 3 and 13. Please bring water, snacks, a lunch, a change of clothes,(for mud or water play) and farm appropriate attire.
